Youth Groups at Zion

There are opportunities for youth in grades 5 through 12 to be involved in youth group activities at Zion. ZYG is the high school group for 9th through 12th grade. ZAG is the group for middle school students in grades 5 to 8. These groups meet both separately and together for Sunday evening times of fellowship and learning. Service activities are also an important part of our youth schedule. We have an annual Amazing Race in which teams race to complete service around the town and around the church. The Manheim Area Food Bank is also a part of our service because it is located right inside Zion!

Yearly mission is also an important part of our program. We have a three year cycle which includes the ELCA Youth Gathering (New Orleans in 2012), local mission, and distant mission.
